Integrate your chatbot with Telegram. Ask your chatbot questions from a Telegram channel and receive responses as Telegram messages.
This guide assumes you already have a chatbot at Denser.ai. If not, follow one of these guides to create your chatbot by feeding it documents about your products:
If your chatbot has not been integrated with Telegram before, you'll need to create a new Telegram Bot first.
1. Create a Telegram Bot
Open Telegram in your browser, then search for @BotFather.
Type /newbot to trigger the new bot command. Follow the instructions and note down your API Token.
2. Link Your Chatbot to Telegram
From your chatbot's Integrations page, select the Telegram integration tile and click the Install button.
Enter the HTTP Token you received from BotFather in the provided field and click Connect.
Test Telegram Integration
After successful integration, your Telegram integration tile will display the connected status.
Note: To test the integration, you can directly message your bot on Telegram. Simply search for your bot's username and send a message. You can also add your bot to a Telegram channel for group access.
3. Optional: Add Your Bot to a Telegram Channel
From your Telegram channel, open the channel info panel then click edit and add the bot as an administrator.
Revoke Telegram Integration
To revoke Telegram integration, click the red Uninstall button on the Telegram integration tile. This will disconnect your chatbot from your Telegram bot.
