Integrate your chatbot with Shopify. Build a Denser chatbot with knowledge of your products, embed Denser chat window into a Shopify webpage, and let Denser chatbot answer customer questions on your Shopify site!
This guide assumes you already have a chatbot at Denser.ai. If not, follow one of these guides to create your chatbot by feeding it documents about your products:
Select Shopify Webpage for Integration
Log in to your Shopify account. Navigate to Sales Channels > Pages on the side panel. You will see a list of webpages that make up your Shopify site. Click on the page you want to integrate with Denser chat. In this guide, we choose a page named "Ask About Our Products".
In the page editor, click the </Callout> icon under Content to view the HTML code of the page. In the next step, you will learn how to find the code snippet to add to your Shopify page's HTML.
Prepare HTML Code for Integration
Go to denser.ai. On your chatbot's main screen, select Settings > Integrations from the side panel. Then select the Shopify tile and click Get Code to copy the code snippet to your clipboard.
Integrate Denser Chatbot as Frame
Paste the Denser <iframe> code snippet into your Shopify page editor as shown below.
You can view the page with the embedded Denser chat window by clicking the </> button again. Make sure to click the Save button to apply the changes.
